At Vidya Dance Academy (VDA), we encourage our students to participate in the SAMPADA Bharatanatyam certification program as a way to deepen their skills, strengthen their theoretical foundation, and gain formal academic recognition for their artistic efforts.

What is SAMPADA?

SAMPADA is a structured and accredited certification program in Indian classical arts, offered by Aria University. It provides a comprehensive curriculum in Bharatanatyam that supports both performance excellence and academic learning.

Certification Tracks

  • Junior Certificate

    • Duration: 2 years

    • Covers: Level 1 and Level 2

    • 16 university credits per level

​

  • Senior Certificate

    • Duration: 4 years

    • Covers: Levels 1 to 4

    • 16 university credits per level (total of 64 credits​

 

 

For students, this is not only a way to track progress in their dance journey—it’s also an opportunity to earn highly valuable academic credits from a recognized university.
