
Aditi Vaduri
“Tha Khi Tha” the rhythmic heartbeat of Bharatanatyam, an art form where devotion moves and stories breathe with rhythm and grace.
Aditi Vaduri, daughter of Aruna Ketaraju and Ravi Vaduri has been learning dance since the tender age of 5 under the tutelage of Guru Smt. Vidyalatha Jeerage, Vidya Dance Academy. She has been learning this art form and performing since the very first Parva (VDA’s Annual Day) in 2014.
Aditi has performed at various cultural events and venues like Silicon Andhra, Kannada Koota, Navika, Remalaya and numerous temples across Bay area, Tri Valley region, and Texas. She has also performed in several major productions, including Ksheeramrutha, Mahalakshmi Vaibhava and County cultural events. In addition to stage performances, Aditi has received recognition in both solo and group categories at dance competitions organized by Maithry Association and OSAAT, highlighting her technique, expressive depth, and refined presentation.
She has completed her Junior (level 1 & 2) and Senior (level 3) Diploma Certifications at SAMPADA (Silicon Andhra Music Performing Arts & Dance academy) with Distinction. She is a senior student in Vidya Dance Academy and actively assists her teacher during classes, mentoring junior batches.
Aditi’s dedication to Bharatanatyam played a key role in shaping her character, nurturing qualities such as discipline, perseverance, resilience, and consistency. Aditi was one of the selected speakers for GRITx talks, at UC Santa Barbara where she shared her passion towards Bharatanatyam and the lessons it taught her. She has also contributed to a variety of fundraising and community-based performances, using dance as a medium to inspire and serve.
Aditi is deeply interested in pursuing a career in medicine and has consistently demonstrated this passion through her academic journey. She has earned top honors at Regionals, State, and National STEM competitions and received Mayor’s Recognition Award from the City of Cupertino for two consecutive years in the field of Biological Sciences. She has also received prestigious awards from NASA and the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA).
As she presents her Arangetram, it reflects the culmination of years of dedicated training and practice and marks a blessed beginning to a new chapter in her journey, one she is eager to pursue.
